Agent Spotlight: Meet Kyla Usher!

Occupation: Broker at John L. Scott Mukilteo/Bothell

Tell us more about where you are from: I was born and raised in a small city in North Carolina. After 18 years of living there, I had the strongest desire to move out west, and so that’s what I did.

What I love about my profession: I love making genuine connections with people. It’s such a significant time in a person’s life, whether buying or selling, and I want to be there to make what can be a stressful process, much more enjoyable for my client.

When I’m not working…. You can probably find me somewhere in the mountains.

Other interests and hobbies: As long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for photography. Since living in Washington, I’ve been shooting primarily landscapes. Combining my love for photography with my love for the outdoors. I love being able to share that beauty with others through my photographs, while encouraging them to get out there and do the same.

Favorite Destinations: Anywhere that’s 75 degrees and above, and with a nice view.

Fears: Wasting time

Best Advice: If you have something you’ve been needing to get done, and it takes an hour or less, just get it done. The weight of the task often feels heavier than the task itself.

Fun Fact: I love heights.
