He’s never met a person he doesn’t love and an adventure he isn’t thrilled to take. Whether it’s trotting down trails, splashing in the water or sniffing the breeze, he smiles through it all. Theo does well with other dogs and is quite the player, but he can be overwhelming for more mellow dogs. Theo has a high prey drive and needs a home without any cats or small animals. Sam is one of those cats that just make you feel so good to be around. He makes you truly believe that you're the best thing since sliced bread. Though this 11-year-old cutie is shy at first and takes a bit to warm up, the time and patience that you give him will be totally worth it when you see his personality blossom. The pay-off is immense! He's affectionate, loving and gentle. And when we say he's affectionate, we mean it! This guy absolutely adores being pet and will purr and purr, while head bunting you asking for more and more. Sometimes he even drools when he's really blissed out! Sam does well with other cats but may be nervous and scared with dogs, so he'd likely prefer a home with no canines. Sam would prefer any kids in the home be on the older side and able and willing to let him settle in at his own pace.
