If you’re searching for a loving, faithful friend to keep you company day and night, Lacey is here and she’s more than ready to meet you. After 11-months in our shelter, this sweet 13-year-old soul is eager to find her forever family. Lacey is shy when she first meets you, but given time to warm up, the purring never ends. And if you try to stop petting her, she offers up a gentle reminder to get back to work, in the form of head bunts and cheek rubs. And cute chirps, too! Lacey is looking for a quiet home with just teens and adults, and no dogs. Lacey does have a good history with other cats. Marley is a wonderful mix of all you could possibly want in a best friend. She’s cuddly, smart, playful, and faithful. At 3-years-old, this German Shepherd/Husky knows the value of a good work-life balance. She’s figured out the perfect ratio of play to rest, and she goes all out with both! Marley loves squeaky toys and tennis balls and will happily run after them until she’s ready for a nap. And when she’s sleepy, Marley will even snuggle up into her human’s lap and relish in the attention and pets. Marley may do okay with another mellow dog but may be happiest as the only canine in her new home. We don’t know if she’s ever met cats, so any introductions should be done very slowly. Because she can be sensitive to handling, she’s looking for a home with just teens and adults where she will be handled gently.
