Gretchen
The cooler weather has finally arrived, and you could probably use an extra heat source in your home – one that rewards you with snuggles, purrs and companionship. Gretchen is ready to be all of that for you, and more! This fluffy and loving 12-year-old is as affectionate as they come and will keep your lap extra warm and your heart extra full. Gretchen is happiest getting pets, cuddling up for a cozy nap, and simply being around her humans. We don’t know how Gretchen is with other cats or dogs, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. She will likely do well with older kids who can handle her gently. Roman
Talk about enthusiasm! Roman has it in spades! There’s not a moment of the day this handsome 1-year-old pit bull mix isn’t bouncing, bounding, or begging for pets. Roman is ready to spend his life with humans who will appreciate his infectious joie de vivre. No matter the activity, the happiness and excitement rush out of him! We don’t know if Roman’s ever lived with other dogs, though he seems to enjoy them here at the shelter. We also don’t know if he’s ever lived with cats, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Roman will likely do well with older kids who can handle him gently.
